ACMPE - The American College of Medical Practice Executives
Your ability to grow and lead is limited without a solid base of medical practice and management knowledge. The Body of Knowledge for Medical Practice Management is the foundation for ACMPE's self-assessments, examinations and leadership programs, as well as its ongoing contribution to medical practices. Within the Body of Knowledge are learning domains to which we create our educational programs and is your assurance of ACMPE's commitment to your personal success.
To assist in the certification process, our Forum Representative provides Study Sessions and personal guidance. To date, IMGMA has Fellows, CMPEs and nominees.
Continuing Education Units
IMGMA programs and conferences are pre-approved for continuing education units from ACMPE. These CEUs count toward certification requirements. You can submit your credit hours online at www.mgma.com. Log in using your member ID# and password. Under the Welcome Message, select My Profile. Choose My Transcript from the left column. Select Add New Credits and follow on screen instructions.Required for submission: Title of the conference/seminar, number of credit hours earned, and the end date of the program. No paperwork is necessary.
The Indiana CPA Society also provides continuing education credit and their CPEs are based on a 50-minute hour. A Certificate of Attendance is provided upon request after a conference and attendees are responsible for keeping track of their continuing education credits.
