Committees & Volunteers

We realize that the demands on our time are many. With the support of the Board of Directors and an Executive Director, members can offer their time and services without the additional stress that comes with volunteerism. To accommodate work schedules and geographic separation, committees meet via teleconference on a pre-set schedule and use e-mail to accomplish many of their tasks.

Volunteering in the IMGMA is just another way to help you succeed in your career. Volunteer leadership opportunities, for instance, can often serve as a training ground for the mid-level medical practice professionals working in larger practices to go on to become the leaders of those or other organizations. With the wide range of opportunities in IMGMA, you have the freedom to find a place where your contributions best suit your needs.
